'Managers in the future Essay\r'

'I believe that cooking will always be essential to a manager. If the importance were to become more than or slight important, I would say that it is going to become more important. Planning is when an validation defines their goals, establishes strategies for achieving those goals, and developing course of studys to integrate and coordinate work activities (Robbins & Coulter, 2014). Planning is always infallible because of the way things are constantly changing. An organization isn’t necessarily always changing, but the world is and wherefore can affect an organization, so a companion better be prepared.\r\nIn the textbook, it says that managers should plan to hand over direction, reduce uncertainty, minimizes waste and redundancy, and establishes the goals or standards used in controlling. This is extremely important in the planning butt against because it can help an organization in be successful.\r\nProviding directions in the planning process is very impor tant because it helps build the foundation of how things will be done. Without directions, an organization would be a disaster because everyone would want to do things their own way causing confusion if bulk had to work together because in that respect would be in all different methods. To me, providing directions is related to reducing the uncertainty in an organization. If there were uncertainties going on within the organization, whence things probably would non happen due to confusion.\r\ncost would be so high if planning wasn’t done to minimize waste and redundancy. If there is not a plan prepared on who was to do what, then an organization would be producing multiples of products causing the wrong spent on production and materials to be doubled.\r\nIn plans, you want to have goals prepared. This gives people incentives to want to happen upon a goal to succeed and possible throw away in time. Standards are good to have so workers know what is expected of them.\r\ nI have worked at a retirement for the last 5 long time and an example of when my managers use planning is when an expected attack is coming. The managers need to have a plan of what to do in case of a problem, such as a power outage. If there was no plan planned for a disaster like that, there would be serious issues do to the residents needing oxygen or motorized wheelchairs that need to be charged by a power source. This is a perfect example, in my opinion, of when planning really matters.\r\nReferences\r\n1. Robbins, Stephen P., and Mary K.
